A busy Spring

Check my calendar of show listings. The next month is a busy one. This weekend I’ll be on River Street in Savannah. This festival now starts on Friday afternoon at 4pm and continues until Saturday night at 8pm. It looks like the weather will improve by Friday afternoon and Saturday looks great; cool and sunny. Facebook Page is up and Running

For quite a while I haven’t been able to posts photos on this website (I need lots of website help). Today I started a Facebook page for this craft business where I can post photos and show updates on a more visible site. Please find me on Facebook for the best current information. It’s been a long winter

The weather’s been mild but I was sidelined for a while after having my right shoulder joint replaced!! No sewing for a couple months. After Christmas I got back into the sewing groove and have made LOTS of great new Bandana Bags for the Spring and Summer craft show season. I’ve got bandanas with dogs, tiger stripes, pirates and skulls. Lots of colors and new ribbons. I plan to make a facebook page where it will be easier to show photos of my new creations. Stay tuned and I’ll let you know when it is up and running.

I just applied to River Street for First Friday and Saturday (March 1st and 2nd). I haven’t gotten my confirmation yet but will hopefully see lots of Savannah locals and tourists that weekend. Hope to see you then.

OKTOBERFEST

This event on River Street in Savannah is one of my favorites to attend. The weather is mild and comfortable and the crowds are happy and all are enjoying the venue. It’s a three day event starting on Friday, October 5 and ending on Sunday, October 7. I have lots of pretty new bags in fall and winter colors; even a few special Halloween and Christmas designs. Come check out all the crafts vendors and have a beer this weekend in Savannah. My booth is in a great location near the ferry landing by the east side of the Hyatt. Hope to see you there!

One Show in Town- One on the road

I’ll be selling at the Artist’s Market at Polk’s Produce in Pooler GA this Saturday (August 24). It’s time to think about  team color combinations for football and back-to-school. My friend Andy will also be selling his lighthouse creations and walking stick.

AND… the weekend after Labor Day (September 7-9) I will make the long drive to Charlotte Michigan to sell at Frontier Days. I have family in the area (so I get to see my grandson!) and can’t wait to try a new venue. I’m really looking forward to the cooler climate after the heat and humidity of Savannah. Beaufort Water Festival up Next

I’ll be at the Water Festival in Beaufort SC next weekend, July 20-22. This is my first time at this show and hope to see many of you there. Beaufort is a charming town and this festival has lots of entertainment and fun events. Please come by the craft area to see my Bandana  Bags Booth. I’ve got many new bags this year; lots of bright colors and designs. Also come by to purchase a cool gel neck cooler; just the thing to help keep you comfortable in the heat and humidity.

Busy as a bee this spring

Check out my calendar to see the next four shows on my schedule! I’ve maybe overbooked myself this time but can’t wait to do the shows on my spring schedule. I have lots of colorful bags in new and classic combinations. Come by and see me if you’re in the Savannah/Lowcountry area in the next 4 weeks. I have shows in Savannah, Port Wentworth, Thunderbolt and Bluffton. The weather has been great here lately; warm but low humidity, a rare occurance in coastal Georgia. The jasmine is scenting the air and craft shows are blooming every weekend.

Christmas On the River

Christmas isn’t far off and this weekend Savannah will be celebrating on River Street with the last First Saturday of the year. I’ll be selling Bandana Bags in all colors (some with a Christmas theme). Pick up a gift for someone or treat yourself to a handmade craft. Wishing everyone a Happy Holiday Season. Rock and Roll!!

First Saturday this month coincides with a huge event in Savannah, the Rock and Roll Marathon. If you’re one of the thousands of visitors here for the race please visit the crafters displaying their work on River Street. I’ll  be set up in front of the River Boats in  booth #46 with lots of great Bandana Bags for you. They make great Christmas gifts too and it’s not too far away. We’re expecting gorgeous cool sunny weather and the ever present charm of Savannah to entice you to come see us.  Run and then SHOP!!!

Fall Craft Show Season

This is a great time of year in the South; lots of festivals and other outdoor activities. This fall starts with one of the best- The Wild Georgia Shrimp and Grits Festival on beautiful Jekyll Island. Lots of good food, beautiful crafts and fun. Come by and see me at booth #19 on the grounds of the historic  Jekyll Island Resort. The weather is cooling down just in time for a fun fall weekend. I have lots of new colors of Bandana Bags and plenty of mini sized ones for the little girls in your family.
